Day 32

The whole group! We had a really good time camping. Yes, I had a good time camping lol. It really wasn't so bad until it started pouring rain and our tarps and tents were collapsing. But everyone got along, no one whined and we all made it out in one piece.

Day 31

So all the girls decided to go for a hike. When we said we were going the guys decided to go to Walmart. It was quite the role reversal weekend. Girls hiking, guys shopping. Guys cooking, girls building the fire.

Day 30

I built this amazing fire. Well, mostly. The guys tried lighting 3 big logs on fire and were confused when it didn't work. So I showed them how to build a fire the right way. In the end they were too impatient to let it get going so they used lighter fluid. lol

Day 29

Despite the heat today I did a bunch of baking :)

I'm going camping tomorrow so I made blueberry muffins and chocolate chip cookies to take with me. I'm not really a fan of blueberries, but I'm sure other people like them and there is one without blueberries for me! :)

Day 28

So Aesop has this thing about chipmunks...He absolutely LOVES them! Today he was chasing a chipmunk around and he chased it into the gutter pipe. He nearly bit the pipe right off the house! Then it got under the car top carrier and he was dancing around it trying to get it to come out. It is really very cute. I'm sure what he'd do if he actually ever caught one, but hopefully we won't have to find that out.

Day 27

Again, Tigger is silly. He found a bag of cat food and decided to claim it.



I know, I take a lot of pictures of the animals...but I spend a large amount of time at home applying for jobs and there isn't much else around...

Day 26

Oh my dear, dear Patricia...
Pattie is a very nervous dog. She loves to be in the bathroom when there are a lot of things going on. But today she was particularly nervous about the boxes in the hallway so she go into Dad's shower and hid there for awhile. Every once and awhile she'd come out and check on what was going on, then something else would scare her and back in the shower she'd go.

Day 25

Tigger is a goofball. He loves ladders and he loves to be under blankets. Mom was painting so it gave him a nice opportunity to climb up the ladder and hang out.

Day 24

This is a brick wall I painted in college. We were unpacking some more and found this and I really like it. I really have very little artistic ability, but this actually turned out okay.

Day 23

My cousin Dan married Danielle today. The wedding was very beautiful and it was great to see family. It was a little weird to go to a family wedding and be the only cousin on our side to be there (besides Dan's brothers and sisters), but it was nice to see all my aunts and uncles.

Day 22

Aesop is a very snuggly dog. He loves to sit in the middle of the couch between two people and be touching both people. Hip to hip with one person and using the other person as a pillow. :)

So Tuck is the last one to show up here. That's because he is the hardest cat to get to stay still for more than a few seconds, making it hard to get a good picture of him.

Mom and I went on a kayaking adventure today. :)

We had fun! I nearly tipped myself over trying to take this picture of the two of us, but I did not get my camera wet! I have been getting pretty bored without a job and I desperately wanted something to do to get out of the house. This was the perfect thing!

Between Jordan's birthday, my birthday, and Mom and Dad's anniversary we had a busy weekend and I decided I wanted to make a cake! I have decided I really like cooking and baking and I'm not too bad at it, if I do say so myself. :)

The Start of My 26th Year

So, as anyone who followed my last blog knows, I broke my camera shortly after beginning my 365 days of pictures.  Finally after 6 months without a camera I finally have a new one!  So I have decided to try again.  I am starting with my 25th birthday and I will follow my 26th year with a picture each day.  As I found out last time, I may have time to post a picture each day, or maybe once a week.  But not to worry, there will be a picture each day!
I really hope that this time I will be able to keep up with the pictures and have them mean something more than the last try :)
